The Fabrication Technician supports the creation of advanced orthotic devices. This role combines traditional hand-craftsmanship with modern technology to directly improve the lives of patients in 50 countries. It is a 100% onsite position in a professional, fabrication shop enviroment.

- Device Fabrication: Support the production of prosthetic and orthotic devices using a mix of hand tools and modern technology
- Work with specialized materials including carbon fiber, plastics, and plaster.
- Safely operate shop tools, sewing machines, and CAD/CAM machinery, including grinding mills
- Read and interpret English work instructions to ensure extreme precision in every build
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with shop tools and experience in material handling (specifically plastics, plaster, and carbon fiber)
- Soft Skills: Extreme precision, patience, persistence, and a collaborative mindset
- Use of grinding machines / mills
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Machinery: Ability to operate CAD/CAM systems and sewing equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for the majority of the shift
- ERP system experience or SAP experience.
