This is a full-time position that comes with a fantastic, compressed Monday through Thursday (4/10) schedule, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM. We pay what you're worth, offering a competitive range of $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on your experience.

Responsibilities:
Your Daily Forge
The Blueprint Whisperer: Accurately and efficiently fabricate assemblies by tack welding minor piece marks into final position, following IFF shop drawings to the letter.
The Master of the Machine: Safely pilot welders, overhead cranes, and wield various small tools like a pro.
The Quality Guardian: Keep lines of communication open and tag in Quality Assurance (QA) immediately if any drawing conflicts or questions arise???we hold the line on strict quality standards.
The Communicator: Provide daily progress reports and operational updates directly to the Shop Foreman.
The Clean Sweep: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation???a true metal worker respects their domain.

Skills:
Bonus Points (The Titanium Edge)
You've seen a complex industrial shop drawing and laughed-because you can read and interpret it with ease.
You speak the language of the weld: strong foundational knowledge of applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Beyond the Bench: More than just a tape measure jockey: strong mechanical aptitude and smooth familiarity with overhead crane operation.

Show us the proof: Current Welder Certification (AWS, WABO, or equivalent) is a must.
You know your structures: A firm, proven understanding of structural shop drawings.
The Foundation: Strong basic math and geometry skills???essential for precise layout and fabrication alignment.
Safety First (Always): Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the safe operation of small tools and welding equipment.

The Fine Print: Getting Started
We keep it clean: Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
Ready to work in a high-energy, drug-free environment.
Gear Up: You Must provide and wear steel-toe boots on the production floor at all times???safety is non-negotiable!
Physical Readiness: Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and lift test to confirm the ability to safely handle steel materials.
