      Work Schedule - 6:30 to 4:00 Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu and 6:30am to 10:30am on Fridays. 1 hour lunch and (1) 15 minute break per day$15 - 17 per hour depending upon experienceSUMMARYUnder supervision, responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments, receipt of equipment, materials, and supplies.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.)- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner- Verifies the items against the record of shipment, and examines their condition upon arrival. Rejects unsatisfactory items. - Routes material throughout the stockroom and production areas. - Sorts, counts, and checks raw materials, finished, and semi-finished parts.- Fills orders from requisitions and maintains the necessary clerical records. - Required to prepare and package materials for shipment.- Prepares records of goods shipped and bills of lading.- Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. - Posts weight and shipping charges and maintains shipping record files.- Prepares boxes and cartons for shipment of parts.- Operates forklift and prepare goods for final shipment.- Maintains record keeping system - Maintains shipping/ receiving equipment and prepares purchase requisitions for necessary supplies.- Maintains finished parts inventory and parts stockroom. - Responsible for part labeling and bagging/tagging.- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations- Provides constant feedback and input into process improvement within the department. - Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions- Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management- Attends scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful input- Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant- Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skillsWorking hours: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:-Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock.-Receiving, stocking, and stacking.-Pulling, packing, and loading.-Good written and verbal communication skills.-Strong sense of time organization and urgency.-Able to work independently and within a team.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- Ability to understand basic administrative and clerical techniques.- 2-3 years preferred experience and /or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- High school diploma or GED requiredLANGUAGE SKILLSEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
