Responsibilities:
>Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage large pallet loads throughout a high-volume facility.
>Inventory & Order Flow: Move materials to designated storage areas, packing lines, or shipping docks to maintain continuous target warehouse flow.
>Constant Attentiveness: Maintain high situational awareness and a strict focus on safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-traffic distribution setting.
>Pallet & Space Management: Organize and stack heavy pallets neatly to optimize container, truck, and floor space.
>Load Inspections: Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for damage, correct labeling, and stability prior to movement.
>Team Communication: Collaborate closely with shift leads, utility workers, and team members to ensure smooth material handling and shift transitions.
Working hours: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Skills:
Prior experience operating specific equipment types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks) in a high-traffic setting.
Experience working as a third-party logistics (3PL) vendor inside a major retail distribution network.
Strong team-player mentality with a track record of excellent attendance and reliability.
Flexibility to assist with general warehouse organization or weekend work if operational demands arise.
