This is a heavy industrial, highly physical, and non-climate-controlled environment. You will be working in the elements, around high heat (kilns), and doing demanding manual labor. What You will Do (Responsibilities):
Production Support: Meet daily plant production targets through highly physical labor and efficient workflows.
Material Preparation: Safely cut and prepare steel cages for concrete molds using standard hand and power tools.
Finishing & Patching: Perform precision hand-patching on cured concrete products to ensure they meet structural and cosmetic standards.
Kiln Area Quality Control: Work directly in the hot kiln area to monitor curing conditions and inspect concrete infrastructure for top-tier quality control.
Forklift Operation: Safely transport raw materials, molds, and finished concrete products across the yard and facility using a forklift-especially heavy-duty models like Taylor. Precision Load Handling (moving large/heavy finished product).
Dynamic Task Rotation: Smoothly transition to different tasks, stations, or duties throughout the day as production needs change?no attitude, just teamwork.
Please note: This specific role focuses on hand tools, material handling, quality inspection, and forklift driving.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What We are Looking For (Qualifications):
Professional Maturity: We require a high level of professional maturity, a strong work ethic, and a personal drive to succeed, learn the business, and grow into advancement opportunities.
Excellent Attendance: Reliability is critical. We operate on tight production schedules, and we need team members who show up on time, every single day, ready to work.
Heavy Physical Stamina: Ability to handle demanding physical labor, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, stand and walk for long periods on concrete floors, and work comfortably in a non-climate-controlled plant (subject to outdoor weather and hot kiln environments).
Self-Directed & Flexible: Able to work independently without constant supervision, yet fully team-oriented. Must be 100% willing to pivot to different tasks or roles at any time when directed by management.
Safety-First Mindset: A strict commitment to workplace safety protocols, proper tool handling, and the consistent use of required protective gear (PPE). Safety is paramount.
Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work 50-60 hours per week with an early morning start time of 5:00 AM.
Skillset: Experience operating a forklift safely, alongside comfort using industrial hand/power tools.
