As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the movement of goods and materials within our warehouse. You will spend the majority of your shift operating industrial vehicles to load, unload, and stack products. Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and stage heavy materials throughout the warehouse.
Loading & Unloading: Efficiently unload incoming shipments from trailers and load outgoing freight, ensuring all loads are secure and balanced.
Inventory Accuracy: Use RF scanners or manual logs to track inventory movement and ensure products are placed in the correct locations.
Safety Inspections: Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Warehouse Upkeep: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Certification: Current or previous forklift certification (PIT) is highly preferred.
Versatility: Experience operating multiple types of equipment (e.g., reach trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks).
Local Knowledge: Proximity to the New Haven/Fort Wayne area for a reliable daily commute.

Safety Mindset: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a "safety-first" culture.

Reliability: Consistent attendance record and the ability to work overtime during peak seasons.
Technical Skill: Experience with RF scanners and basic warehouse management software (WMS).
