Spherion Staffing is seeking professional, safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our team at a premier facility in Orangeburg. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of the top three 3PL fulfillment companies. As a Forklift Operator, you will have an important role on the team helping provide sophisticated supply chain solutions.
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday - Friday)
Stability: Consistent full-time hours with a clear path to permanent employment.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day
Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.

Precision Tracking: Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Logistics Support: Load and unload trailers as needed and perform inbound receiving processes.
Process Excellence: Adhere to the company safety program, maintain a clean environment at all times, and demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
What You Need to Succeed
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required (Proof of education must be provided).
Experience: At least 1 year of prior safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks and 1 year of general warehouse experience.
Professionalism: A positive, service-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift 50 lbs. frequently (including objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights).
- Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
- Stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
- Handle or manage tools and equipment safely.
