As a Production Operator in Grind & Pack, you will play a vital role in processing and packaging high-quality fruit and vegetable products. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety in their workday, ranging from operating sophisticated machinery to ensuring every package meets our rigorous quality standards.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate $20.50 per hour.
- 30 day temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Shifts: Primary openings are for 2nd and 3rd shifts; however, flexibility to work any shift is highly preferred.
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Punctuality: We value your time and our customers' time. To ensure a smooth hand-off between shifts, arriving early is considered "on time" for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems, monitor humidity levels, and ensure metal detectors and scales are properly calibrated.
- Fill cases to precise weights, seal bags/cases, and palletize finished products. You will also be responsible for wrapping, labeling, and storing pallets in designated areas.
- Collect finished blend samples for QA analysis and maintain a clean workspace using approved chemicals and required PPE.
- Promptly communicate any unsafe conditions or processes requiring assistance to management.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Candidates with a natural technical or mechanical aptitude are urged to apply.

- Prior experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to track and record yields, verify correct weights, and calibrate metal detectors and scales.
- Full understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the ability to use appropriate PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly, bend, squat, and push or pull material.
- Skilled in taking samples for QA analysis and monitoring environmental factors like humidity.
