Responsibilities:
General Facility Maintenance
- Building repairs including doors, walls, flooring, shelving, and minor carpentry.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fittings, and maintaining drains.
- Handle minor electrical tasks (changing ballasts, outlets, switches. (no high voltage work).
- Maintain and repair facility fixtures, workspaces, and production support areas.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Basic Mechanical Support
- Assist with simple equipment repairs such as replacing belts, tightening fittings, and adjusting components.
- Support production staff by responding to small mechanical issues that do not require a full mechanic.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on non-complex equipment.
- Help with equipment setup, moving, and installation as needed.
Production & Facility Support
- Assist with upkeep of production areas to maintain food grade standards.
- Support sanitation team with repairs to sinks, drains, hoses, and fixtures.
- Ensure tools and maintenance supplies are organized and properly stored.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all plant safety rules, GMPs, and OSHA guidelines.
- Report hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- 2+ years of experience as a handyman, maintenance helper, or general repair technician.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around manufacturing equipment.

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a production environment.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
