Job Description:

This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including cleaning, organizing, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout an establishment. Housekeepers are integral to creating a positive experience for guests, significantly contributing to the overall reputation of a facility. The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness
• Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained
• Clean and stock restrooms
• Collect and remove trash and debris
• Clean upholstered furniture
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
• Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning equipment
• Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of the shift

Education: High School

• High School graduate or equivalent vocational training.

Experience: 12 months

• One (1) year prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms.
• Prior guest relations training.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling. 

Skills:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests and residents
• Collaborate with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and guests
• Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken glass
• Perform basic housekeeping duties, including changing sheets and restocking supplies
