Spherion West Springfield MA is hiring Manufacturing Workers for light production roles focused on ice cream filling and packaging operations. Operate and monitor ice cream filling equipment on the production line
Ensure products are filled, sealed, and packaged accurately according to specifications
Inspect products for quality, consistency, and proper labeling
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Assist with line setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
Pack finished products and prepare them for shipment
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Perform general labor duties as needed within the facility
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or assembly work
Familiarity with GMPs or food safety standards
Experience working on production lines or with automated equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Flexibility to work different shifts, including overtime if needed
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a cold manufacturing/production environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 40 to 50 lbs as needed
Reliable attendance and good work ethic
Basic communication and teamwork skills
