Spherion is looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk for our customer in Brookville, OH! They are looking for a candidate that can effectively handle receiving, storage, and issuance of materials from a MRO crib, to prevent customer downtime. The ideal candidate will help minimize the cost of acquiring and maintaining items, handles all inventory needs, inspecting, marking and identifying parts and equipment in order to keep items from being damaged.

Shifts available:
1st: Mon - Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm
2nd: Mon - Fri 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Pay: $20 - $22/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Disburses MRO items and equipment to workers and maintains records of items and equipment issued and returned.
- Receives, unpacks and stores incoming MRO items and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory and notifies customer requestor upon receipt of non stocked requests.
- Packs and ships warranty and repair items to suppliers.
- Undertake periodic cycle and full inventory count efforts as directed by management.
- Assists in maintaining an orderly and clean crib environment while adhering to all safety requirements.
Other tasks/duties as required.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Precision Receiving and Issuance: Ability to accurately disburse items to workers while maintaining rigorous records of what is issued and returned.
- Inventory Control: Proficiency in performing periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits as directed by management.
- Logistics Coordination: Skill in unpacking incoming stock and preparing warranty or repair items for shipment back to suppliers.
- Proactive Replenishment: Capability to requisition stock to replenish inventory and notify customers when non-stocked requests arrive.
- System Accuracy: Ability to utilize a keyboard within a structured computer environment while following strict procedural guidelines.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Competency in performing basic arithmetic operations to ensure inventory counts remain accurate.
- Detail Orientation: High level of attention to detail when inspecting, marking, and identifying parts to prevent damage

- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail and perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Ability to deal with situations with occasional variables.
