We are seeking a motivated, hands-on leader to serve as a Gap Leader (Autonomous Production Group Leader) within our PC&L department. In this junior supervisor role, you will provide direction, guidance, and encouragement to your team while ensuring all safety, quality, and production scheduling requirements are met. Shift: 6pm - 4:30am Tuesday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Conduct daily "Top 5" meetings at the start of the shift to review targets, quality alerts, and continuous improvement ideas.
- Operations Oversight: Allocate team members to production operations, ensure appropriate headcount, and verify that all standardized work methods are followed.
- Logistics & Material Handling: Perform sequencing, operate hilos or other manufacturing equipment, and verify that the correct material is in place to support the production schedule.
- Maintenance & Support: Coordinate routine changeovers and perform first-level preventative maintenance (lubrication, tightening, filter cleaning).
- Quality Control: Investigate quality issues, ensure containment actions are in place, and maintain the "GAP Board" (SPC charts, QCDP indicators, and training logs).
- Training: Assist in the orientation and training of new team members regarding safety.

- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Attendance: Must arrive 15 minutes prior to the shift for a pre-shift briefing with the Supervisor.
- Physical/Technical: Proven ability to perform all operations within the assigned group, including equipment operation.
