Spherion is seeking motivated individuals to join a growing shop floor in Midland. If you are mechanically inclined, curious about how things are made, and looking for a company that will actually invest in your technical training, this is it. We are looking for "makers", people who have a baseline understanding of manufacturing and are ready to level up their skills with machine operation, learning programming and robotics.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate CNC machinery. You won't be expected to program from scratch initially; you will select the correct programs and oversee the production cycle.
• Act as the first line of defense for the equipment. You'll perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep the workflow moving smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all shop safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for the whole team.
• Work closely with the shop lead to meet production goals, offering a "can-do" attitude to whatever challenges the day brings.

Skills:

• The Fundamentals: You have a rudimentary knowledge of production processes and a desire to learn more about automated systems.
• Team Player: You show up on time, help your coworkers, and stay positive when the shop gets busy.

Qualifications:

• Technically Minded: You have a natural mechanical aptitude. Maybe you fix your own car, work with 3D printers, or have messed around with basic robotics.
• Background: You have previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment OR a background in Career and Technical Education (CTE) with an interest in the manufacturing industry.
