The High Pressure Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring high-pressure press equipment used in the production of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tooling components and other machining tool products. This position ensures equipment is operated safely and efficiently while maintaining product quality standards, documenting process data, and supporting production objectives. The operator works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure continuous and reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate high-pressure press equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
Enter and verify press parameters using the designated software platform.
Clean and prepare anvil faces prior to production runs.
Load press cubes into the press and initiate the sintering process.
Continuously monitor press conditions through machine controls and monitoring screens.
Remain in the press area during active press cycles and respond appropriately to process alarms or abnormalities.
Read, interpret, and follow engineering prints, specifications, work instructions, and production documentation.
Perform required measurements and accurately document production data.
Complete required sections of job packets and production records.
Visually inspect products for quality and conformance to specifications.
After completion of press cycles, break cubes to expose and recover sintered PCD blanks.
Record scrap, defects, and production information on required logs and time/scrap sheets.
Transfer completed work orders and materials to the next stage of production.
Align anvil faces using an aluminum alignment cube and verify proper machine setup.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
