Perks and Benefits:
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
- $17.00/hour
- Temp-to-hire position
- Mandatory OT (may include Fridays or weekends as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust production machinery (e.g., press brakes, punch presses) to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine machine settings and material requirements.
- Quality Control: Perform visual and physical inspections of finished parts using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure quality.
- Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain a clean machine area to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Skills:
- Self-Driven: Able to produce desired results with minimal direction.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to report machine issues.
- Teamwork: Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.
- Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years manufacturing, operations, or technical experience in an industrial setting.
- Must live within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
