• Key Focus: Manual machining in a clean environment

What You’ll Do

• Configure fixtures, select tooling, and set offsets for CNC mills and manual machines.

• Perform secondary operations, repairs, or one-off prototypes on manual mills with high proficiency.

• Interpret complex technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and job routers to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) to inspect your own work and maintain tolerances.

• Perform daily "shop math" and routine machine maintenance including coolant checks, chip removal, and lubrication.

What You’ll Need

• Experience: 2+ years in a machine shop environment preferred.

• Math Skills: Strong grasp of geometry, trigonometry, and decimal-to-fraction conversions.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of feeds, speeds, and tool geometry for various materials (Aluminum, Steel, Plastics).

• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
