Looking for a manufacturing job that doesn't require a diploma or years of previous experience?
Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Manufacturing Machine Operators in Ashland across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
You'll operate manufacturing equipment, remove completed products, inspect your work for quality, and prepare finished products for packaging. We're looking for dependable people who are comfortable staying active, working with their hands, and learning a manufacturing process.
Available Shifts
1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Monday - Friday | 8-Hour Shifts
Pay: $17.75 - $18.25 /hour based on shift and attendance
What You'll Do
- Operate manufacturing equipment
- Load and unload materials and finished products
- Remove completed products from equipment
- Inspect finished work for quality and defects
- Trim, finish or prepare products as required
- Package completed products
- Monitor equipment and report production or quality concerns
- Follow established work instructions and safety procedures
- Keep your workstation clean and organized
- Work with team members to keep production moving
What We're Looking For
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to product quality
- Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work
- Ability to stand and stay active throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to frequently handle materials up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to work safely in a busy manufacturing environment
No high school diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience is helpful, but not required.
