The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the manual final assembly, wiring, and repair of turnstile secure entry equipment and accessories used in commercial buildings. This role is highly hands-on and requires mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot product issues both in-house and in the field. The position includes physical labor, logistics tasks (shipping/receiving), maintaining documentation, and coordinating closely with management and customers.

Responsibilities:
Perform manual final assembly and wiring of products, including running and bending conduit runs from the breaker box to the equipment.
Analyze blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings for the purpose of final product assembly.
Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform necessary repairs on products both in the facility and in the field (requires some travel).
Handle shipping and receiving of equipment using a forklift and build custom wood crates for shipping.
Maintain inventory for Accounting within the MRP system.
Update and maintain technical documentation and repair logs.
Coordinate effectively with the project team, management, and customers regarding work status and necessary improvements.
Perform work at off-site warehouses for equipment storage and shipping.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Project management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Exhibit effective communications skills for coordinating with management and customers on a regular basis.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot independently.

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and pull items, sometimes weighing up to 80 pounds. Must be able to work outside in any season.
Technical/Electrical: Demonstrated electrical experience, including proficiency in multi-meter usage and running electrical/conduit.
Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined with proven experience in hands-on work or fixing things.
Logistics: Ability to operate a forklift and all necessary hand tools.
Administration: Basic typing and computer skills for maintaining customer information, repair logs, and inventory.
Autonomy: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working effectively with minimum supervision, using standardized practices and methods.
