What You'll Do:
- Keep the floor running by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time.
- Drive the process by safely operating forklifts to transport materials.
- Play a vital role in supporting the production team with timely replenishment.
Perks and Benefits:
- LONG-TERM POTENTIAL: Temp-to-hire position with potential for a permanent role.
- SHIFT OPTIONS: 2nd Shift (With the opportunity for overtime).
- PAY: $14.50/hr, weekly pay.
Responsibilities:
- Material Movement: Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to transport materials to and from production lines and storage racks.
- Receiving & Stocking: Receive, unload, and accurately stock assembled products while performing visual inspections for quality and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Production Support: Support the production team by staging necessary materials for assembly and ensuring timely replenishment.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Skills:
- Independence: The ability to work independently to achieve results.
- Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Problem Solving: Practical problem-solving skills to handle inventory issues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime to support business needs.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Experience: Must have forklift experience.
- Location: Must live within 50 miles of Sumter, SC.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Strength: Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
