-Develop and maintain material plans based on customer demand, production schedules, forecasts, and inventory targets. -Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. -Analyze material requirements using ERP/MRP systems and take proactive action to prevent shortages. -Coordinate material availability to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments. -Support inventory accuracy initiatives and cycle count programs.-Manage supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost. -Monitor supplier capacity and lead times to support business requirements. -Escalate material shortages, delivery concerns, and supplier performance issues as necessary. -Support supplier development initiatives and corrective action activities.-Create and maintain purchase orders using ERP-generated planning recommendations. -Process supplier order confirmations and follow up on overdue deliveries. -Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Receiving to ensure accurate transaction processing. -Support intercompany purchasing and material transfers as required.-Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material-related issues. -Participate in production meetings and communicate material constraints or risks. -Support new product launches, engineering changes, and production ramp-up activities. -Maintain and adjust supplier forecasts based on customer demand and production requirements. -Analyze demand fluctuations and communicate changes to suppliers. -Support Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities as required. -Maintain material master data and supplier master data within ERP systems. -Develop and maintain reports related to inventory, supplier performance, material shortages, and planning metrics. -Track and report key performance indicators.-Follow all quality policies, procedures, customer-specific requirements, and IATF 16949 requirements.

-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.-Automotive or IATF manufacturing experience preferred.-SAP experience preferred.
-3 + years of experience in material planning, purchasing, supply chain, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.-ERP/MRP experience required-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. -Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supplier scheduling.-Application of Quality Standards: respect internal processes (INPro, INChange?) controlled documents.-Knowledge and respect of internal deliverables for his/her function and customer specific requirements (I.E. CSR, Customer Specific Requirement) for his/her projects.-Great analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
