As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be the hands-on force behind our product builds. You'll combine technical precision with digital savvy to ensure every unit meets our high standards.
Precision Assembly: Build, wire, and integrate complex electro-mechanical units, including box builds, cable/wire harnesses, and PCB assemblies.
Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of hand tools (tweezers, pliers, screwdrivers) to execute intricate assembly tasks.
Documentation & Data: Navigate our ERP (Epicor) to manage work orders, log shop moves, and follow digital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Blueprint Literacy: Interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical drawings to guide your builds from start to finish.
Quality Control: Conduct continuity checks and inspections on in-process and finished goods to ensure functional excellence.
Team Support: Assist with job kitting, component prepping, and final packaging to keep the production floor moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire various electro-mechanical units.
- Use small hand tools (including but not limited to; screwdriver, tweezers, pliers, etc.) to complete box builds, cable/wire assembles and PCB assemblies.
- Use bill-of-materials (BOM) and assembly drawings to complete box builds, cable/wire assembles and PCB assemblies.
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process as well as completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Responsible for packing, boxing or bagging of the finished product s needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- 2.5+ years of prior experience performing mechanical assembly on PCB boards.
- Knowledge of standard electronic parts and mechanical aptitude
-Previous experience or certification in IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 (standard soldering protocols).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1-2 years related assembly experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to use various types of drivers, wrenches, torques, crimping tools, screw drivers, wire cutters, etc.
- Knowledge of fasteners such as fine thread, cross thread, panhead, flat head, Phillips head, etc.
