The Molding & Assembly Associate is responsible for the high-quality assembly of large parts and molding activities within an assigned cell. The Molder and Assembler roles require a safety-first mindset, a commitment to meeting daily production quotas, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S). The successful candidate for Molding and Assembly will be a reliable team player capable of troubleshooting equipment, performing quality inspections, and following detailed standard work instructions to meet both internal and external customer needs.

Responsibilities:
- Production & Assembly: Complete large parts assembly and mold production activities while consistently achieving hourly and daily production goals.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks per the control plan; identify, report, and address quality concerns; and perform re-work or repair activities as requested.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all plant safety policies and PPE requirements. Keep workstations clean, orderly, and free of hazards (5S).
- Equipment Oversight: Demonstrate a functional understanding of equipment and basic troubleshooting within the assigned scope of responsibility.
- Communication: Keep supervisory staff informed of cell activity, including parts supply, production abnormalities, and safety issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in department projects, tasks, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
- Documentation: Complete all required cell documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Skills:
- Technical Troubleshooting: Advanced ability to troubleshoot equipment abnormalities within a production cell.
- Integrity & Ethics: A proven track record of maintaining the highest ethical standards and intellectual integrity.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong ability to take direction from supervisory staff and participate effectively in group objectives.
- Cross-Functional Experience: Previous experience in machining, shipping, receiving, or new product development.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular/repetitive basis.
- Physical stamina to stand, push, pull, bend, twist, kneel, and climb for the duration of a shift.
- Ability to work in weather extremes and wear all required PPE (including gear for handling fiberglass).
Operational Skills:
- 1 to 5 years experience in manufacturing setting
with Machine Operation a plus
