We are looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor to ensure the timely, accurate packaging and verification of all mortgage loan applications from pre-qualification to closing. This role involves inputting application data, preparing disclosures, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and preparing the package for underwriting. The ideal candidate will handle transactions efficiently, assist customers with inquiries, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties while remaining compliant with all applicable laws and policies.

Responsibilities:
- Process mortgage loan applications and prepare loan files.
- Prepare compliant and timely disclosures.
- Order and request required file documentation, following up to ensure all preliminary documentation is secured.
- Prepare the loan package for submission to underwriting.
- Coordinate with the originator and/or applicant to clear underwriting conditions.
- Handle customer concerns and questions in a professional, timely manner.
- Provide back-up for other operational positions as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties and activities assigned by management
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Prior Mortgage Loan Operations experience.
- Prior Customer Service experience.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Windows-based applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a motivation to take quick action for immediate results.
- A strong tendency to pay close attention to detail and a conscientious approach to handling detail-intensive projects.
- High degree of integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to portray a professional image.
- A cautious inclination to make decisions carefully, thoroughly thinking through relevant facts, alternatives, and procedures.
- Desire and motivation to help others and solve problems creatively.
