Responsibilities:
Precision Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized paper-converting equipment (slitting and rewinding machines) according to specific daily job orders.
Quality Assurance & Inspection: Conduct rigorous visual and physical inspections to ensure finished products meet exact size and quality specifications.
Proactive Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Logistics & Material Handling: Utilize forklift skills to load raw materials into machinery and prepare finished goods for global shipping.
Production Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs of production output, technical disruptions, and material usage to ensure operational transparency.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Industry Expertise: 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically with paper converting or flexographic printing.
Technical Troubleshooting: A "mechanically inclined" mindset with the ability to diagnose equipment errors on the fly.
Sustainability Mindset: An interest in working within a green-certified, solar-powered manufacturing environment.
Safety Leadership: A strong commitment to OSHA standards and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace.

Qualifications:
Forklift Proficiency: Active experience and ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is required.
Advanced Measurement: Exceptional ability to read a tape measure with high accuracy (to the 1/32nd) and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Physical Capability: Stamina to stand for 10+ hour shifts and the strength to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
Educational Foundation: High School Diploma or GED.
Availability: Ability to commit to a 4-day schedule (either 1st or 2nd shift) with flexibility for Friday overtime as needed.
