In this position, you will play a vital role in fulfilling, packing, and preparing essential consumer products for store delivery and online shipments. These positions offer 10-hour shifts on both Day and Night schedules, making it easy to build steady hours and boost your income. Best of all, top performers will have the opportunity to transition into temp-to-hire full-time roles!
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Safely pull products and orders using hand-held RF scanners, pick tickets, or voice-directed pick systems.
Packing & Shipping: Inspect product quality, pack merchandise securely into shipping containers, apply shipping labels, and prepare packages for outbound transit.
Inventory & Accuracy: Verify item numbers, product quantities, and descriptions to ensure 100% order accuracy before shipment.
Material Handling: Load and unload boxes onto conveyers or pallets; sort merchandise into designated warehouse locations.
Workstation Maintenance: Keep work area, aisles, and packing stations clean, safe, and organized in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with Spherion and Walgreens warehouse personnel to meet daily production metrics and shipping deadlines.

Skills:
Preferred Skills & Experience
Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, picking/packing, light industrial, or retail inventory roles (preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply!).
Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management software systems (WMS).
Ability to thrive and move quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced surge environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30???50 lbs continuously throughout a 10-hour shift.
Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work 10-hour shifts (Day or Night openings) and mandatory holiday overtime as required.
Reliability: Strong attendance record, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.
Basic Literacy & Math: Ability to read order sheets, follow printed or digital instructions, and perform basic counting.
Safety Mindset: Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines, protocols, and facility rules.
