We are hiring skilled Pipefitters and Piping Specialists for an industrial manufacturing facility local to the Frederick area!
Whether you excel at precision shop layout or heavy assembly and fabrication, we have a spot for you.
Responsibilities:
Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs
...
Measure, cut, bevel, and thread various pipe materials (carbon, stainless, etc.)
Position, align, and fit components using clamps, brackets, or tack-welds
Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure tests to ensure zero leaks
Operate shop equipment safely to complete required tasks
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Proficiency in TIG, MIG, or Stick welding (pipe or structural)
Experience specifically on HVAC equipment
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
2+ years of industrial piping, pipefitting or fabrication experience (shop or field)
Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
Solid shop math (calculating offsets and angles)
Proficient with standard trade hand/power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of a shop environment
