Position Details:
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday)
Hours: 12-hour shifts (4:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM)
Flexibility: Must be available to work either day or night shifts, including mandatory overtime and Sundays as required.
As a Plant Clean-up team member, you will ensure the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the plant. This role involves a variety of manual tasks and requires working in pairs, alternating between different stations throughout your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Pallet Management: Sort through rows of pallets to identify those in good condition, those needing minor repairs, and those requiring major work. You will perform necessary repairs and restack pallets in designated areas.
- Stacking and Packaging: Responsibly package cured tiles by stacking them into groups of three, loading them onto pallets, and securing them with ties and wrap.
- Production Support: Monitor molds on the production line, ensuring they are clean, full, and properly stacked to prevent gaps or overlaps.
- Packaging Accuracy: Prepare paper inserts with correct color and profile information, and record pallet numbers and times accurately in logs.
- Maintenance: Assist with general facility upkeep.
Working hours: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Ability to read/write legibly and comprehend general instructions.
- Capability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; specifically for counting pallets and tiles.
- General mechanical ability to use tools and keep equipment in safe working condition.
- Maintain a respectful and ethical attitude toward coworkers and uphold company values.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass all standard screening requirements.
- Ability to stand for at least 10 hours a day and work up to 6 days a week.
- Lift and move pallets weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Capable of lifting 33-pound stacks of tile rapidly (up to 2 tiles per second) and moving 60-pound wooden pallets.
- Full knowledge of and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Must be punctual, clocking in and out for all scheduled shifts and rest periods.
- Required PPE: You will be expected to wear steel-toed shoes at all times, along with earplugs, and safety glasses as necessary.
- Facility is an indoor, non-climate-controlled environment that can be loud and dusty.
