Responsibilities:
- Press Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain large-scale web offset printing presses according to daily production schedules.
- Quality Control: Constantly monitor print runs for color consistency, registration accuracy, and ink density to ensure the highest quality output.
- Paper Management: Coordinate the loading of large newsprint rolls and manage "splicing" to ensure continuous production flow.
- Plate Installation: Correctly mount and align printing plates for various editions and commercial jobs.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Prior pressman working experience is highly preferred.

High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating large-format or web offset presses, strong mechanical aptitude and production machine operation experience is required
- Strong ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues on the fly.
- Excellent attention to detail is required for this role.
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift / push up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to train on day shift for 6-8 weeks and transition to night shift once training is completed. (This is a true night shift position)
