Responsibilities:
Package and Band Products: Package and band finished rolls of specialty film coming off the machine lines according to specific customer requirements.
Operate Equipment: Safely use hand tools, air guns, and an overhead crane (manipulator) to move and secure materials.
Measure and Document: Read a tape measure accurately, complete daily production paperwork, and perform mandatory safety checks.
Maintain Stop-Work Authority: Monitor the production floor and immediately halt work or machinery to notify management if safety or quality risks arise.
Follow Facility & Safety Rules: Maintain a clean work area and strictly comply with SQF, ISO, dress code, and tobacco-free facility policies.

Skills:
Equipment Operation: Prior experience or comfort operating manual machinery, specifically pneumatic air guns and overhead cranes (manipulators).
Attention to Detail: Ability to review a Bill of Materials (BOM) and package products precisely to varied customer specifications.
Situational Awareness & Escalation: Strong judgment to identify production defects or hazards and the confidence to exercise "stop-work authority."
Regulatory Mindfulness: Ability to learn, retain, and adapt to strict manufacturing guidelines like SQF (Safe Quality Food) and ISO standards.
Time Management & Dependability: High reliability to maintain excellent attendance (fewer than 2 absences/tardies in the first 90 days) on a 2-2-3 shift rotation.
