-Operate production line machinery to fabricate and assemble components to produce afinished product to specification.-Responsible for quality control (measurements, quality specifications). Be able to adjustas necessary to produce products within specification. Reject products outside ofspecifications.-Operate within Product Work Instructions (PWI), Work Instructions (WI), settings charts,equipment parameters, print specifications, parts list, and job safety requirements.-Monitor machine operation and outputs (product appearance, gauges, sounds, etc.) todetermine operating trends and potential malfunctions.-Records and maintains production data.-Complete daily production and quality forms.-Perform minor maintenance (PM), troubleshoot and perform equipment change-over onproduction line machinery within skill capabilities; call for repairs as needed.-Assist maintenance in repair work.-Communicate with operators within and from other shifts.-Moves materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage andwork areas, use work aids (racks, hoists, hand trucks) as needed.-Provide on-the-job training for any new employees.-Cross train between various modules to provide flexibility to the workforce.-Maintain supplies inventory by checking inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies;placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.-Participate in continuous improvement activities.-Clean and maintain work area.
