Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Production Machine Operators in Wooster. This is a hands-on manufacturing opportunity for candidates who are comfortable operating equipment, monitoring quality, troubleshooting production issues, and keeping a fast-moving production process on track.
We're especially interested in candidates with previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or equipment setup experience.
Available Shifts
1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment
- Adjust machine settings based on product specifications
- Troubleshoot issues during production runs
- Inspect finished products for size, quality, and consistency
- Monitor production flow and help keep work on schedule
- Complete required production and quality checks
- Assist and train team members on machine-related tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
What You'll Need
- 1+ year of previous manufacturing or production experience
- Previous machine operation or equipment experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to production or quality issues
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to follow written procedures and production specifications
- Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing, machine operation, production equipment, converting, or similar environments is especially valuable.
