Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday ,would work 10 hours a day. With a total of 4 days a week at 40 hours for the week.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities would include performing Quality Control production line inspections, analytical testing, sample collection and routine quality checks to monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished product. Assist Plant operations personnel with quality and processing questions. Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods and climb stairs. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. And, responsible for Food Safety
Perform routine analytical tests such as simple titrations and moisture to measure quality parameters within the process, and finished product, as well enter all data into a lab database.
Interpretation of analytical results to assist in process quality control.
Learn to accurately test, monitor, and document quality results and processing data for products produced.
Audit, verify and follow-up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, HACCP, plant inspections, receiving, etc.
Maintain a high and effective level of communication with all operating departments.
Support process variations as they relate to formula adjustments to satisfy customer requirements.

Learn to operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and ensure accuracy of instrumentation. Troubleshoot laboratory and plant issues
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.
Support process variations as they relate to formula adjustments to satisfy customer requirements. Learn, understand and apply the functionality of the Hold Program.
Utilize AS400 computer system for necessary quality functions.
Maintain and complete files and documentation accurately and timely.
Work toward gaining the knowledge and understanding of the crystallizing and tempering process for oils and margarines, the process for mayonaisses, dressings, and sauces production.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Good math, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a self-starter.
Good inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels.
Excellent Teamwork skills are a must.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:

??? Minimum 1 year lab experience
??? Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
??? Ability to work safely with small quantities of acids, bases and solvents
??? Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
??? Attention to detail and ability to keep details organized
??? Ability to work 10 hour shifts
