Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to inspect manufactured products and verify that parts meet customer specifications and quality standards. This position will work closely with production and quality teams in a manufacturing environment and provides an opportunity to develop additional inspection skills through training.

Responsibilities:
Inspect parts and finished products for dimensional and visual conformance.
Read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, notes, dimensions, and symbols.
Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators.
Perform first article inspections and support inspection requirements for initial production runs.
Perform basic NDT-related quality checks as required.
Collect and document inspection and production data accurately.
Complete documentation related to counts, scrap, defects, and quality findings.
Identify non-conforming products and communicate quality concerns to appropriate team members.
Work with production and quality personnel to help maintain product quality and production flow.
Follow established safety, quality, and inspection procedures.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 AM
Skills:
Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection environment.
Experience with height gages or optical comparators.
Familiarity with first article inspection processes.
Basic knowledge of NDT methods.
Experience interpreting GD&T or engineering specifications.
Previous experience documenting defects, scrap, or inspection results.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 3 months of experience reading basic blueprints or engineering drawings.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Ability to accurately record inspection results and maintain required documentation.
Basic understanding of manufacturing quality control processes.
Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
