The Details
Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (or until the daily schedule is met)
Location: Spencerville, IN 46788
Responsibilities:
Inspection: Perform visual and manual inspections of parts on both moving conveyorized lines and non-moving batch stations.
Specifications: Ensure coatings and parts meet exact customer blueprints and military-grade specifications.
Quality Testing: Assist in monitoring finishing quality, identifying defects such as "orange peel," runs, or light coverage.
Pace: Maintain steady productivity to ensure the daily production schedule is met.
Report all paint gun and paint equipment problems to the Line Supervisor.
Order and maintain inventory on all necessary parts in regards to paint guns, pressure pots and paint related materials.
Maintain housekeeping within all areas of the finishing facility including paint mix rooms, maintenance crib, and paint stock cabinets.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: Must have previous experience in parts inspection (manufacturing or industrial setting required).
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain focus and spot defects in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Reliability: Since the shift ends when the "schedule is met," a flexible attitude toward finishing the daily goal is essential.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable standing for the duration of the shift and working near industrial paint/powder lines.
