Employment Structure: This is a temporary position with a part-time schedule. Depending on production demands and performance, there is the possibility for the role to transition to full-time or shift to an "as-needed" basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a global technology leader while working in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Perform Inspections: Conduct incoming inspections of custom parts and in-process inspections of machined parts, welds, control panels, and assemblies.
Technical Measurement: Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges to ensure items meet drawing specifications.
System Testing: Perform final inspections of completed vacuum and test systems.
Data Management: Record inspection results in our ERP database and document any nonconformity's.
Drawing Review: Interpret drawing symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and notes for comparison with produced materials.
Material Release: Properly release conforming materials to the correct jobs or departments.
Physical Requirements: Stand, sit, stoop, and lift or move up to 50 lb..
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience with tool calibration, internal audits (ISO 9001/ISO 17025), or forklift operation.

Qualifications:
Experience: 2???3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing production environment.
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (college degree or certification is a plus).
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in measuring techniques, test equipment, and weld inspections.
Software Skills: Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Soft Skills: A keen eye for detail, decision-making, and excellent time management.
Adaptability: Ability to work well independently or in teams and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
