Responsibilities:
Perform Detailed Inspections: Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of metal components using precision measuring equipment.
Utilize Precision Tools: Masterfully operate and calibrate tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges to measure dimensions and tolerances.
Document and Report: Accurately record inspection data, including dimensions, test results, and non-conformances. Create detailed reports on defective parts and collaborate with the production team to address root causes.
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all components comply with company specifications and industry standards. Assist in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
Blueprint and Specification Reading: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics to understand part specifications and tolerances.
