Responsibilities:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies
Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges
Accurately record inspection results in the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain detailed documentation
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, ensuring proper tagging and reporting
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve defects and improve product quality
Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Skills:
Experience in aerospace, medical device, or defense manufacturing
Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation
Prior involvement in quality audits or ISO-compliant environments
Certification in quality inspection (e.g., CQT or equivalent)
Experience supporting continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives

High School

Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect minor deviations
Basic computer proficiency, including experience with QMS, ERP, or MRP systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Previous experience in a manufacturing, machining, or fabrication environment
