Spherion is looking for a TEMPORARY Quality Tech in the Elkhart, IN Area!
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician for an immediate, short-term temporary assignment lasting 1-2 weeks. In this role, you will assist our quality department by performing critical piece inspections and managing minor administrative tasks. Shift: 5am-3pm Monday-Thursdays with overtime on Fridays if needed.
Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities:
-Perform thorough visual inspections on parts and products to identify defects.
-Check components for scratches, surface blemishes, and overall cosmetic defects.
-Identify and flag any missing components.
-Complete label verifications to ensure accuracy and work instruction compliance.
-Identify, label, and properly segregate suspect or nonconforming material.
-Safely move rejected products to designated quarantine areas to prevent accidental production use.
-Assist the quality department with daily QA documentation and form completion.
-Maintain accurate, up-to-date inspection logs and quality records.
-Perform clerical duties including filing records and keeping paperwork organized.
-Enter basic quality data efficiently into SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
-Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
-Good attention to detail and accuracy.
-Adept at basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
-Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in a manufacturing quality control or product inspection environment.
-Visual acuity and attention to detail for catching cosmetic and structural defects.
-Basic computer literacy, including experience entering data into Microsoft Excel or SAP preferred.
-Ability to understand, follow, and enforce strict work instructions and safety protocols.
-High level of reliability and the ability to start immediately.
