Responsibilities:
.Candidate's applying should be able demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Mechanical, hands-on assistance in the Research and development shop
- Field test program management
- Assisting with the construction of prototypes
- Conducting standard testing on prototypes
- Leading shop 5S initiatives
- Familiarity with fuel and engine systems (15-40HP)
- Mechanical power transmission (Belt/Gear/Hydro)
- Hands-on mechanical skills for prototype development
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Welding and Fabrication experience is highly preferred
- Experience working in mechanical shop and in conducting tool calibrations
- Ability to work with various measurement tools/ devices
- Familiarity with Mill, Lathe, and band saw operation
- An Associates degree in related field preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be Mechanically- inclined and have prior working experience to be considered for this role
- Understanding of Lean principles and methodology
- Knowledgeable of electro-mechanical systems, sensors, computers, cabling, and wire routing
