In this role, you will be the face of our outdoor plant and garden department. You'll be responsible for keeping our inventory healthy, assisting customers with their spring and summer projects, and maintaining a clean, vibrant shopping environment.

Responsibilities:
Plant Care: Daily watering, pruning, and monitoring the health of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees.
Customer Service: Greeting customers and helping them select the right plants, mulch, tools, or soil for their specific needs.
Merchandising: Unloading delivery trucks, restocking plant benches, and arranging displays to keep the center looking full and organized.
Maintenance: Sweeping aisles, organizing pots, and ensuring the outdoor sales area is safe and free of debris.
Assistance: Helping customers load heavy bags of soil, mulch, or large planters into their vehicles.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Skills:
Green Thumb: Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, or landscaping is a major plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
Retail Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or warehouse environment.
Problem Solving: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, such as assisting a customer while keeping an eye on a delivery truck.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (bags of mulch, large pots, etc.) regularly.
Weather Resilience: Comfort working entirely outdoors in varying conditions, including heat, light rain, and humidity.
Communication: Friendly, approachable demeanor with a "can-do" attitude toward helping others.
Reliability: Consistent attendance is vital, especially during peak weekend hours and holidays.
