Spherion is seeking an experienced and dependable Shipper/Receiver to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, shipping and receiving experience, forklift operation experience, and solid computer proficiency. This role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and on schedule
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
Prepare orders for shipment including labeling, packaging, and documentation
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and system updates
Organize and stage materials within the warehouse for production and shipping needs
Follow shipping procedures and ensure compliance with company and safety standards
Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status and material availability
Support general warehouse operations as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience in shipping and receiving operations
Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with shipping systems and inventory software
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience handling materials in a warehouse or logistics setting
Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained
Valid driver???s license
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials
Basic computer and data entry skills
Good communication and problem-solving ability
Reliable attendance and consistent work performance
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
