We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper to join our close-knit warehouse team on a full-time, temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, and processing outbound domestic and international shipments. You will work alongside a collaborative team of shippers, receivers, and material handlers, with ample opportunity for cross-training across all warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Pull, pack, and prepare outbound orders (both domestic and international) for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and quality standards.
Documentation & Logistics: Generate shipping labels, Bills of Lading (BOL), and customs documentation; schedule carrier pick-ups as needed.
System Transactions: Process all shipping and inventory transactions through ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office tools.
Inventory Control: Perform routine cycle counts, process inventory transfers, and help resolve stock discrepancies.
Cross-Functional Support: Train and assist across other warehouse areas, including receiving and material handling, as part of a versatile 8-person team.
Working hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Shipping & Logistics Experience: Prior experience preparing domestic or international shipments, including creating customs documentation and Bills of Lading.
Software Familiarity: Previous exposure to ERP or MRP systems for warehouse inventory and transactional processing.
Warehouse Operations: Experience with cycle counts, inventory transfers, or general material handling.

Qualifications:
Basic Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily shipping tasks.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process orders and documentation without reliance on handheld barcode scanners.
Reliability & Schedule Adherence: Dependable attendance for a regular Monday???Friday day shift.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift packages throughout the shift. Safety-compliant footwear required (closed-toe and closed-heel shoes).
