The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely shipment processing, and proper documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
Unload deliveries, check for damages, and report discrepancies
Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations
Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements
Generate and process shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing lists
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
Coordinate shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.)
Ensure materials are staged and delivered to appropriate departments as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Perform additional duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Forklift certification
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
Knowledge of shipping carriers and logistics processes
Inventory control and cycle counting experience
Familiarity with safety standards and warehouse best practices
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
1+ year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and work orders
Reliable attendance and good work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
