We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving / NDT Calibration Technician to join our growing team in Florence, SC. This position is primarily responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring inventory is accurately received, organized, and prepared for customers. During periods of reduced shipping activity, the successful candidate will receive hands-on training to perform in-house calibration of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to develop technical skills in a supportive team environment. No travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized inventory and warehouse areas. - Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and lifting devices as needed.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments.
- Learn and perform in-house calibration of NDT equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Maintain accurate calibration and shipping documentation.
- Assist with additional operational tasks as business needs require.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Shipping and receiving or warehouse experience.
- Experience using shipping software or inventory systems.
- Mechanical aptitude or technical experience is a plus.
Education:
High School

7-10 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. *
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic computer skills. - Willingness to learn technical calibration procedures.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to safely move packages and equipment throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and light industrial environment.
