Responsibilities:
- In this role, you aren't just moving boxes; you are the gatekeeper of our inventory. Your primary focus will be the lifecycle of raw materials and finished goods.
- Expedite the quality check and put-away of inbound freight within a 24-hour turnaround time.
- Maintain high accuracy levels through meticulous stocking, location management, and first-in/first-out (FIFO) rotation.
- Plan and execute seasonal inventory shifts to maximize space and efficiency.
- Interface with freight vendors to resolve discrepancies or damages, ensuring our shipping metrics remain top-tier.
- Assist with pick/pack/ship duties during peak seasons to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.
- Safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (fork trucks) to move and stock products.
Skills:
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in an industrial warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with PCs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and keyboarding.
- Ability to use measuring tools like tape measures and handheld micrometers.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs to chest level regularly.
- Comfort standing for an 8-hour shift and navigating a production area (stairs, kneeling, stooping).
- Excellent color perception and fine motor skills for product inspection.
- High level of numeric recognition, attention to detail, and the internal motivation to solve problems independently.
- Previous experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (forklift/ forktruck/ Hilo)
