We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Specialist to join our close-knit warehouse team. In this role, you will focus on quality over speed, managing outbound orders and ensuring all shipping documentation is accurate. Unlike high-volume fulfillment centers that rely on scanners, our process is manual, precise, and highly collaborative. You will join a dedicated 8-person warehouse team (consisting of Shippers, Receivers, and Material Handlers) and will be cross-trained in all areas to support a well-rounded workflow.

Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and carefully process outbound orders to ensure proper packaging and quality standards.
- Documentation & Logistics: Create shipping labels, bills of lading, and detailed customs documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Inventory Management: Perform routine cycle counts, handle inventory transfers, and actively resolve discrepancies.
- Carrier Coordination: Schedule carrier pick-ups and coordinate daily outbound logistics.
- System Transactions: Utilize ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools to manually log and complete shipping transactions.
- Team Collaboration: Cross-train and support receiving and material handling departments as needed.
- Working hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience handling international logistics, customs paperwork, and freight bills of lading.
- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving inventory and cycle count discrepancies.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn multiple warehouse roles (Receiving and Material Handling).

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience executing shipping transactions directly within an ERP or MRP system.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manually process and verify accuracy of international shipping and customs documentation without the use of barcode scanners.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Commitment to the Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM schedule
- Safety Compliance: Ability to wear required closed-toe and closed-heel footwear daily.
