Spherion Gainesville, FL is looking for a Shipping Administrator in Newberry, FL. The Shipping Administrator will provide support in the Shipping department
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all required certifications for shipping dangerous goods (e.g., DG, IATA, IMDG)

- Verify documentation accuracy by comparing production paperwork, the Customer PO, and the SO, ensuring part numbers, quantity, and pricing match across all records
- Identify and report all discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor for quick resolution
- Gather paperwork from completed production boxes and verify item accuracy against the picklist
- Accurately enter tracking information, invoice orders into NetSuite, and notate all collected data
- Utilize ERP and various shipping platforms to accurately ship orders with a high level of attention to detail-??? Use NetSuite, Teams, Shipping Software, Microsoft, etc. to perform tasks and communicate effectively
- Order shipping supplies proactively to prevent stock-outs and conduct periodic inventory counts
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- 2-4 years prior office experience
- Experience and/or certification in shipping dangerous goods
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Proficient typing skills, exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a high degree of data input accuracy
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to move objects & walk/stand for up to 2 hours at a time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, and pull
- The worker is subject to environmental conditions, with activities occurring inside and outside
