Responsibilities:
- Direct the movement of high-capacity forklifts and trucks using clear hand signals and radio communication.
- Monitor blind spots for operators to prevent collisions and ensure the safety of ground personnel.
- Conduct constant visual sweeps of the work area to identify hazards, debris, or overhead obstructions.
- Assist in the organization of the yard and verify that all loads are staged correctly for transport.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear, decisive signals.
- High level of situational awareness and "safety-first" intuition.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, yard, or construction setting.
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of work experience in an industrial or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong reliability and commitment to the Monday through Friday schedule.
