Compensation & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $17/hour.
Availability: Monday through Saturday.
Shift Hours: 4:00 pm to 4:00 am or 4:00 am to 4:00 pm (shifts may vary based on production needs).
Role Overview:
As a Stacker, you are the backbone of our packaging process. You'll work alongside a supportive production team to ensure cured tiles are inspected, stacked, and prepared for shipment with precision. This role is dynamic, requiring you to rotate through various stations from sorting to final packaging to keep the line moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect tiles to determine if they are good or bad and ensure they are properly depalleted.
- Lift and place stacks of tile onto pallets, maintaining an accurate count and ensuring rows are straight and secure.
- Prepare wooden pallets, manage strap materials, and coordinate with forklift operators to keep the workflow seamless.
- Monitor the infeed line, clearing gaps and removing overlapping or damaged molds to prevent production delays.
- Apply correct labels, wrap pallets securely, and maintain a detailed log of pallet numbers and production times.
Working hours: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM
Skills:
- Ability to quickly and accurately count tiles in stacks and rows.
- Great verbal and written skills to relay information clearly and professionally to teammates and customers.
- A proven ability to work harmoniously with other departments and follow company procedures.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass all standard screening requirements.
- Ability to stand for at least 10 hours a day and work up to 6 days a week.
- Capable of lifting 33-pound stacks of tile rapidly (up to 2 tiles per second) and moving 60-pound wooden pallets.
- Full knowledge of and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Must be punctual, clocking in and out for all scheduled shifts and rest periods.
- Required PPE: You will be expected to wear steel-toed shoes at all times, along with earplugs, and safety glasses as necessary.
- Facility is an indoor, non-climate-controlled environment that can be loud and dusty.
